Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chick pea flour
  • 2 Cups fresh spinach (chopped)
  • 1 Small red onion (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1/2 Tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 Tsp chili
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 2-3 Tbsp water

Note

Pakoras can also be deep fried for a minute or two in hot oil. Drain excess oil on a paper towel

Directions

Mix salt, cumin, chili with chick pea flour. Add water to make a thick paste
break cashew into small bits. Add cashew, sliced onion and spinach to the chick pea mix
Make small balls with the chickpea mix and place on a greased cookie sheet or baking tray
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Flip the pakoras and bake another 10 minutes till crisp
