Venison Stir Fry with Snow Pea Shooters
Ingredients
- 1lb venison (cut into strips)
- 1 bunch spring onions (chopped)
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds (toasted)
- 2 bell peppers (cut into strips)
- 2 Tsp fresh ginger (grated or pureed)
- 1 Tsp cumin powder
- 1 Tsp salt
- 1 Tsp red chili pepper flakes (or 1/2 tsp chili powder ( optional))
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 4 Cups snap pea shooters (washed and cut)
Directions
Heat oil. Add cumin, sesame seeds, chili flakes, salt and meat and fry for 7-9 minutes till cooked. | |
Add red pepper, spring onion and saute for 2-3 minutes. | |
Add snap pea shooters and saute for 3-4 minutes till greens are wilted and nicely mixed in | |
Add soy sauce and saute for 1 minute and take off the fire. Eat warm with rice or rice noodles. |
