Ingredients

  • 24 strawberries
  • 2 Cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp coconut cream (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 Tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup pistachio (chopped)

Note

Easy method : Use caramel chips or caramel squares. Skip steps 1 & 2 if using caramel chips.

Directions

In a saucepan over medium heat cook sugar and milk stirring well to dissolve sugar. Turn heat to low and cook about 12 -15 minutes till it turns an amber liquid and mixture coats the spoon.
Add coconut cream, coconut oil and salt and take off the fire.
Roughly chop pistachio and spread on a plate
Dip strawberries in salted caramel sauce and then in chopped nuts and set on a plate
Refrigerate 1/2 hour and enjoy chilled salted strawberries !
