Tropical Super Fruit Guava Papaya Smoothie Loaded With Digestive Enzymes

Super Fruit guava papaya smoothie loaded with digestive enzymes will transport you right to the tropics. I was on vacation in Chicago last week and I found some guavas. I love guavas!! Grew up eating them off the trees and let me tell you, nothing beats the taste of plucking a raw or ripe guava off a tree and biting into it. I also remember eating them with a little chili sprinkled on them. Mmm delish! Anyway I bought a lot of these babies and after eating some decided to blend the rest  into a smoothie. Teamed with ripe papaya, a little parsley and ginger I got just the taste I was looking for. Sweet and tart with the distinct taste of guava. There’s something magical about blending fruit together and this guava papaya smoothie is proof!  If you can get hold of some guava, try blending it with some papaya and make this super fruit papaya smoothie. You can also get guava puree in the frozen section of your grocery store. Your digestive system will thank you !

  5. Guava is very helpful for those who want to lose weight without compromising with their intake of proteins, vitamins and fiber. Guavas are low in calories and fats but contain several vital vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant poly-phenolic and flavonoid compounds that play a pivotal role in prevention of cancers, anti-aging, immune-booster, etc. Regular guava consumption can also do the skin good through its vitamin E content. Vitamin E helps maintain healthy skin through its antioxidant properties.

Superfruit Smoothie Superfruits get their name because they provide a lopsided amount of nutrients per ounce than other fruits, or they’ve been shown to scientifically reduce your chances of getting heart disease or cancer. Here they’re using papaya and guava, two exotic fruits that don’t often make the shopping cart. It’s time to get introduced to them if you don’t already eat them on a regular basis.
