East meets West in this Tandoori Chicken Pizza baked on a naan. Tender chunks of tandoori chicken with some thinly sliced red onion and red peppers are the base for this pizza. Top it with some cheese and cilantro and you have a spicy, cheesy, yummy Tandoori Chicken Pizza. I am participating in Weekday Supper this week and I decided to make a family favorite: Tandoori Chicken Pizza. Baking it on a naan makes it more exotic and is super easy. You can also use flatbread as your pizza base. I usually make 4 naan pizzas for my family of four and we usually have one or two slices extra which get eaten the next day. I like using naans because they are small enough to make a personal pan pizza and I can play short order chef to my family without much effort. My husband like extra chili flakes while my youngest likes just cheese and chicken and I like a lot of red onion. You can make the tandoori chicken by baking it or cooking it stove top. I have done both. Just make one trip to the Asian market or Indian store to pick up some ready-made Tandoori masala and your’e all set!
