Stone fruit smoothie! One of the things I love about summer is fresh sun ripened stone fruit. Peaches, plums, nectarines just seem to be at their best in the summer and I love eating them and making stuff with them. Whipping up all these yummy fruit into a stone fruit smoothie is fun to do and one of my favorite summer coolers. I added white tea to this drink to make it extra potent. White tea is the new black for blasting fat and adds so much more antioxidant power to a regular smoothie. I used pomegranate flavored white tea which when mixed with all the ripe fruit turned into a super antioxidant stone fruit smoothie! Check out this savory plum chutney I made a few days back with sun ripened plums !

Nutrition Wise!

White tea white tea could be a natural way to boost weight loss, especially from fat. The young and tender tea leaves are picked before their buds fully open and called white tea. It is said to cause metabolism to speed up thus helping weight loss. Stone fruit are a great way to get vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Combine all this into a stone fruit smoothie and you have a potent yummy smoothie. See how pretty it looks!

Stone Fruit Smoothie With White Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 Tea bag white tea (plain or any fruity flavor)
  • 1 peach (pitted)
  • 2 plums (pitted)
  • 4-5 cherries (pitted)
  • 1 nectarine (pitted)
  • 1/4 Tsp ginger (grated)
  • 2 Tsp coconut sugar or wholesome sweetner (optional)
  • 4 ice cubes

Directions

Steep tea bag and make one cup white tea. Chill in fridge for a few hours or freezer for 15 minutes.
Pitt all fruit and blend with grated ginger, coconut sugar, ice cubes and white tea till smooth.
